Based in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District we are licensed for Civil Weddings, and also offer self catering holidays, corporate teambuilding events as well as being a great place for a large get together.

Hargate Hall in the Peak District

Hargate Hall is a fine and very substantial house located in the village of Wormhill in the Heart of the Peak District National Park, between Buxton, Bakewell and Castleton. Hargate Hall has been divided up to provide 12 self catering apartments providing holiday accommodation for families, friends, large groups or small groups, holidays or short breaks, walking and activity holidays, or just taking it easy.

Self Catering Cottages

The self catering apartments are all equipped to a high standard and are really comfortable. Individually they sleep from 2 to 10 people. You can book the apartments in any number, and for large groups booking the whole hall you can sleep up to 79 people. All apartments have a fully fitted kitchen area with everything you would expect to find. We have many facilities; a games room, barbeques and a newly built adventure playground. We are set in 7.5 acres of parkland with fantastic views over the surrounding Derbyshire Peak District.

The Peak District has Britain's first national park in the heart of England. It has breathtaking landscapes, bustling market towns and the area's outstanding cultural and historical heritage, there's always lots to discover!The stunning and diverse scenery of the Peak District and Derbyshire makes it a paradise for walking, family cycling, mountain biking and adventure sports such as caving, rock climbing, hang gliding and paragliding, but there's also plenty to do you want a more relaxed approach to nature and the great outdoors!
