Head In The Clouds is an Aladdin's Cave of oriental handicrafts, ethnic fashions, paraphernalia and assorted beautiful, fun and smelly things.

The oldest 'head shop' in Britain ~ in Pottergate, Norwich Lanes ~ with a touch of love and peace since 1971.

From yonder oriental shore,

About Us

Head In The Clouds was established in Norwich by Martin Wyatt in April 1971. It is now the oldest headshop in the UK, and we strive to continue the hippie ethos with a groovy, love and peace atmosphere of incense and laughter.

The front room layout has barely changed since we opened, but we extended our clothes room in the early 1980s, and relocated our shoes and beads to our sister shop, Feet On The Ground, next door.

This website was launched in July 2007 and is updated and monitored by Martin's son, Jake.
